L-ion ltd, is an experienced designer and manufacturer of lithium-ion energy storage solutions and battery systems. 

The company develops, manufactures, and supplies lithium battery products, cells, energy modules, industrial batteries and energy storage systems across a wide range of markets.

Founded in 1896 by the famous Irish engineer Beatus Erb, the organisation has grown from a family-owned company, via a number of mergers and acquisitions into what it is today – a world leader in Lithium ion batteries of all sizes.

Focusing on heavy-duty transportation, on- and off-grid electrical, mass transit, and task-oriented applications, the company’s manufacturing plants are located in Slovakia and in China. L-ion.ltd was the first company of its kind to mount a commercial-scale production of large-format, prismatic, lithium-ion battery packs and over the past 10+ years, we have have worked to perfect the prismatic pouch cell design and modular stacking architecture, providing customers with production-ready solutions to address a variety of power and energy storage needs. This includes leveraging L-ion Ltd. standard, off-the-shelf DC solutions, as well as customising solutions to adapt our products to customer requirements.

L-ion Roar+ battery packs are designed to meet the challenging power and energy requirements of modern hybrid and electric transportation applications. Roar+ packs offer versatility across a variety of uses including automotive, heavy duty bus and trucks, industrial equipment, trolleybuses, trams, construction, agricultural machines, and military and civilian mobile hybrid power systems. Our lithium-ion ESS products offer, long life, outstanding warranty and meet the requirements of G12 environmental norms.
